Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Willow Fables LLC ("Willow Fables," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our apps: Love, Gran: A Family Story and Ship Time: Texts from the Sea (each an "App," together the "Apps"). This policy applies to both Apps; where something is true of only one, we say so.

Information we collect

We don't require you to create an account or provide personal information to play either App. The information we do collect comes from two sources:

• Analytics (Firebase Analytics). We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how people play our Apps — for example, which episodes are played, how long sessions last, and general device and usage information (device type, operating system, app version, approximate region derived from IP address). This data is not linked to your name or email address.
• Advertising (Google AdMob). Our Apps show ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect your advertising identifier (such as your Android Advertising ID or Apple's IDFA), IP address, and other device information to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted.

Each App's analytics and ad data is collected and processed separately — playing one App does not add to the data we hold from the other.

Your consent choices

If you're located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you'll see a consent form when you first open an App, powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can choose whether to allow personalized advertising, and you can change your choice at any time from that App's settings.

Outside these regions, each App follows the ad settings available on your device (such as "Limit Ad Tracking" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in your phone's settings).

How we use information

• To understand how our Apps are used and improve future episodes
• To serve and measure advertising, including through AdMob's mediation network
• To diagnose technical problems and crashes

Third parties we work with

We share information with the following service providers, each of which processes data under their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase (analytics) — policies.google.com/privacy
• Google AdMob (advertising) — policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Children's privacy

Neither Love, Gran: A Family Story nor Ship Time: Texts from the Sea is directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Ship Time: Texts from the Sea is a romance intended for players aged 16 and up and is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us at the address below and we'll remove it.

Automatic data removal

We do not retain your analytics data indefinitely. If you don't use an App for 60 days, your locally-associated analytics data for that App is automatically deleted and can no longer be linked to your prior activity. This happens automatically — no action is required on your part.

Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics that can no longer be tied to any individual device are retained for reporting purposes and are not subject to this removal.

You can reset or opt out of your device's advertising identifier at any time through your device's own privacy/ad-tracking settings (Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads; iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking). This is managed by your device, not by us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your information. Because most data we collect is pseudonymous and tied to your device rather than your identity, the most direct way to exercise these rights is through your device's ad-tracking and privacy settings, or by contacting us directly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our Apps change. We'll update the effective date above when we do.
